Ever since I finished up my class last week, my to-do list has looked something like this:

- Figure out carry-on or to check bags for luggage and camera gear
- Measure bags & get 3 oz TSA approved travel containers
- Order lens filters to protect our precious lenses from sand

Preparing for the beach is SO much better than doing chemistry!!!
I am SO SO excited! Ryan and I planned a last minute Florida vacation before I student teach. It’s actually my birthday present from him. At the same time, my cousin invited us to her house in Orlando to babysit her sweet kids for a week. Soo it’s off to Florida we go! I’ll go any day, you don’t have to convince me. :)
We usually drive, but this time we are flying. I am equally excited and nervous. I haven’t flown in 10+ years and that was only a short flight. However, I will keep telling myself that I’ll be on the beautiful beach in no time! Wish me luck…
We will spend three nights on the gulf coast near Sarasota. We’ve never been there, but it’s such a pretty beach with blue water and white sand… so I’m sold! I can’t even tell you how excited I am!!!
Then we’ll drive (a rental car) to Orlando and hang out with my cousins for the rest of the week. I can’t wait to see them! We visited them last summer and had so much fun.
