Swimming

One of my favorite things about the summer heat is cooling off in a pool.  I would say ocean, but let’s be realistic – I’m land locked in Missouri/Indiana.  Thankfully, our small little town just opened a brand new pool – Tiger Shark Water Park (Tiger=school mascot).  Compared to the old pool, it is a HUGE improvement.

Since it is a bit crowded in the middle of a hot day (with kids!), I decided I better go to adult swim from 11 AM to noon.  Does that mean I’m a real “adult” now that I’ve gone to adult swim?  ;o)

I convinced Ryan to go with me the first time (he’s not a fan of public pools) and it was so fun!  I admit, I was scared to go down the slide, but Ryan helped me overcome my fear.  Yay for that!  The second time I went, I convinced my Mom to go.  She loved it too!  :)

Now if only I had my own private pool so I wouldn’t have to fight the crowds.  Ahh…someday.
