This sweet family made it really easy to shoot beautiful photos! They brought lots of fun props – a wagon, a quilt, a basket, caramel apples, books – to their fall photo shoot. It’s always a great idea to make photo shoots more fun for little ones! They also did a great job of choosing outfits that coordinated with each other and photographed well. We shot these photos at a local spring and the fall weather was gorgeous that afternoon.
Both kiddos were super sweet and cooperative – little sister is 2 months old and big brother is 3 years old. The baby needed fed half way through the shoot, but then she was back to being content.
Okay, enough talking – check out their great photos and let me know what you think!
Fall is a busy time of year for photo shoots! One of my recent photo sessions was with Megan and Cody for their engagement photos. I actually went to high school with Megan, but this was my first time meeting her fiancé Cody. They are getting married next year around this same time of year – in a glass chapel. How cool is that?!
The fall weather was just perfect that day. We went to a couple different locations for their photos, from a pumpkin patch to a field. Megan & Cody had some really fun ideas for their engagement session. We set up a “picnic” setting and they brought some cool props – an old camera and a ukulele. They were such naturals in front of the camera!
Thanks you two for a fun session, and congrats on your engagement! I wish you the best! ♥
I posted a preview of Tiffany & Travis’ session a few weeks ago, but I wanted to show you more now that it’s finished! This session was more or less a trash the dress/”day after”/bridal session – or in other words, another reason to get back into their wedding attire once last time and get some great photos. Ryan & I took their wedding photos, and unfortunately there just wasn’t a lot of time to steal the bride & groom away for some good portraits.
This session was so much fun! We took the photos on Travis’ family farm because they wanted a simple & natural feel to them. There was a great red barn, orange tractor, and even horses and cows! Unfortunately, we couldn’t get to the hay bales because they had an electric fence around them. We rode around in a Gator from location to location – true country style.
It was cloudy that day, but what can you do besides take advantage of the natural diffuser?! The sun peeked out for literally 10 seconds. We got some great photos anyway!
Thanks Tiffany & Travis, for such a fun session! You two are so great together. ♥
Last month I took photos of Trystan, a 1 month old baby boy. Ryan was my lighting assistant, as we brought our new studio lights into their home. I was thankful for those because we definitely needed more light. I also used my new props – two vintage suitcases. Since Trystan was several weeks old at this point, he wasn’t as flexible anymore — so it was a little more challenging to pose him. However, he was a great model and was awake the whole time! Here’s a few of my favorites… Let me know what you think. :o)
These photos that I just shot of Tiffany & Travis this evening are just too great to wait… so here’s a little preview of their “Trash the Dress” session!
