Grandma’s Treasures

Over Labor Day weekend, one of Grandma’s treasures that I took home with me was this sewing machine, c. 1960’s, as I recently decided I want to learn.

Thanks to Sara for coming helping me set it up and teaching me a few sewing basics at the Pad Party!

It may be old and basic, but it’s a good start for someone who has no idea what they’re doing.

    I am SO jealous of the cool table it’s built into! My grandparents had one like that but it disappeared before I could steal it. So cool!

    It’s beautiful! Can’t wait to see what you create with it. My best advice is not to be afraid of it. Just play and make things! Use old clothes that you would have sent to Goodwill and learn everything you can. Just have fun!
