It’s a Wrap! Spring Semester ’11

As of 4:30 pm today, I have successfully completed another semester of college.  Wow!  The days are slow but the semesters are fast.  Weird how that works.

Another 15 hours under my belt.  This semester was definitely more fun because I learned the “meat and potatoes” of being a educator.  Classroom management, lesson planning, etc… I also presented 5 lessons, made a 10-day unit plan, and created a ton of assignments!  Oh and passed the Praxis.  Woohoo!  I feel accomplished.

That means I only have two summer classes left, student teaching in the fall, and I am an official college graduate!  I am taking Organic Chemistry II online all summer long (through NC State, random I know) and Development Psych for 4 weeks in a seated class (so I can get a minor).  I am still waiting on my student teaching placement, but I know it’s going to be secondary biology! ;o)

I am so so close.  What a great feeling!
