Well, that was a quick break. Two more weeks ’til the next one!

On Thursday morning, my Mom and I traveled 5.5 hours to visit my Grandma in North Missouri… where it is definitely not yet spring! It was cold, cloudy, and there was still snow on the ground. I didn’t think I would see snow again until next winter! Guess I was wrong.

We had a good visit with her though. She will be 89 years old in May and is one tough lady! I think she has 9 lives (like a cat) because she has been through so many things (car accidents, broken hip, intestine surgery, you name it).

She just had some pictures taken at Church and surprised us with some that she ordered. She doesn’t like her picture taken so she tried her best to smile for us. She is laughing in this one-it’s my favorite. :) She says she has too many wrinkles… lol.. I think she is silly and looks good for her age.

We took her fat (17 lbs!), grouchy cat to the vet to get her nails trimmed. She is a brat and had to wear a muzzle because she wanted to bite the vet. Then when we got home, she hissed at us when we looked at her. Well, besides my Grandma since she only likes her.

On Saturday morning we headed home and I slept half of the way. I didn’t get to catch up on my sleep at my Grandma’s so I was really tired. We made it back in time for me to babysit on Saturday night for almost 6 hours. 6 hours of traveling + 6 hours of babysitting = long day! When I was babysitting, I almost started a fire (on accident and not my fault!) I pre-heated the oven for a pizza and little did I know that there was a cardboard box with a pie inside hidden in the oven. I quickly figured it out when I smelled something funny and caught it before it caught flame. That was close!

And then we had to “spring forward” the time, which is all worth it when the sun sets later at night.

Today I was way too lazy for my own good and am ready to end this day and start a new one. I hate when I feel so unmotivated and lazy like this for an entire day. Yuck.

But before I go…

Happy Half-Birthday Ryan!!! (He’s been 22 for 6 months, wow!) & Happy Pi Day to any nerds out there!

Night!
