[box type=”note”]Don’t miss Day 1 or Day 2 of our trip to Florida![/box]
On Day 3 of our trip, we made a stop at First Watch for brunch and ventured south to Venice, FL. I wanted to visit Caspersen beach, an undeveloped beach famous for pre-historic shark teeth. It was a beautiful beach with large rocks and turquoise blue waters, but not a great swimming beach. Everyone there was on a mission: to find shark teeth! We didn’t bring any nets like most people had to scoop up sand and search through it for the teeth. However, we used our hands and still managed to find three small teeth. I was happy with that! We also saw dolphins again!
After Caspersen, we went back to Siesta Key Beach to swim for a bit. I realized that lying on a raft in the warm ocean water was one of my favorite places on Earth. The water and sunshine was just pure heaven.
We then went back to the hotel and got out of our swimsuits for once. I fixed my hair and put on makeup too (Wow!) I wanted Ryan to take photos of me on the beach at sunset, so back to Lido Beach we went. I’ll leave those photos for another post since I haven’t edited those yet! :)
We then went to the Daiquiri Deck at St. Armand’s Circle, where I spilled my $7.00 drink and ate some coconut shrimp. Then we called it a night because we planned to wake up at sunrise the next day!
To be continued….
Shark teeth!
