My Aunt Marcie, who has been here visiting for the past week, initiated a family roller skating night this past Thursday. She has been on the East Coast, where skating is apparently the cool thing to do. I laughed at her at first, not thinking she was so serious, until they actually planned the skating night!
Caspersen Beach {Vaca Day 3}
[box type=”note”]Don’t miss Day 1 or Day 2 of our trip to Florida![/box]
On Day 3 of our trip, we made a stop at First Watch for brunch and ventured south to Venice, FL. I wanted to visit Caspersen beach, an undeveloped beach famous for pre-historic shark teeth. It was a beautiful beach with large rocks and turquoise blue waters, but not a great swimming beach. Everyone there was on a mission: to find shark teeth! We didn’t bring any nets like most people had to scoop up sand and search through it for the teeth. However, we used our hands and still managed to find three small teeth. I was happy with that! We also saw dolphins again!
Lido Key Beach {Vaca Day 2}
[box type=”note”]Don’t miss Day 1 of our vacation![/box]
On the second day of our vacation in Florida, we decided to hit up Lido Key Beach after eating Panera for lunch. We ate at a lot of chain restaurants on vacation because there weren’t a lot of reasonable, local places!
Destination: Florida {Vaca Day 1}
It’s already been 3 weeks since Ryan and I vacationed in Florida, and I haven’t been able to blog about it yet! Shame, shame. As soon as we got back to Indiana, we had to drive to Missouri, film a wedding, and then I started student teaching. It was a whirlwind of a month!
Christy & Cory’s Engagement Session
While Ryan & I were in Florida a few weeks ago, we visited my cousin Christy and her family. Christy is recently engaged to Corey and getting married in April. They asked us to do their engagement photos and we were honored! They also have asked us to be their wedding photographers in April, which will be SO FUN! They have reserved a bed & breakfast on the beach in St. Augustine. Seriously?!? I can’t wait!!
