Mr. & Mrs. Tibbs (Wedding Photography)

Back in May, Ryan & I photographed John & Emily’s wedding (FYI: Ryan met John at college and plays drums with him).  It was my second wedding to photograph and I was super excited – especially since we rented some really nice lenses for the first time!

It was such a beautiful (and fun!) wedding and I am so so happy with the photos.  I couldn’t wait to show them off and finally I am able to!  I will probably show a few more later when Ryan finishes his, but these are some favorites of mine.  Granted, it was VERY hard to choose favorites.

A couple things I really liked about their wedding (you know, I’m putting this in the back of my mind for future reference – wink wink) … the color yellow, a dessert reception with a candy table and dessert table, her bouquet of ranunculus flowers, the photo booth they hired for the reception, AND the coloring book they had made of their love story.

Overall, it was a great day and they both looked stunning!  John surprised her at the reception with a song he wrote for her — how sweet is that!!  Ryan got it on video…and speaking of video, he also took clips throughout the day so I can’t wait to see the video he puts together.

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Tibbs — thank you for letting us capture your day and I wish you guys the very best in your new life together!!!  :)
